CO Sensor | Wall mounting | 24 VAC-VDC
Product description
ISCMG2-4 is a sensor for measuring CO in parking garages.
The sensor has one analogue output and a relay output, and operates on a 24 VAC or 24 VDC power supply. All measured values and settings are accessible via Modbus RTU communication.
The enclosure is made of premium plastic and provides an IP30 protection. The sensor is designed for mounting on a wall indoors.

Additional specifications and description
Which parameters are measured and why is it important?
This sensor measures CO in parking garages.
Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colourless, odourless, and tasteless gas formed by the incomplete combustion of carbon-containing fuels. Because it can not be detected by human senses, it is particularly hazardous. As a result, many regions require CO detectors in environments where the risk of accumulation is high, such as parking garages, enclosed spaces with combustion appliances (e.g. heating systems), or areas containing combustion engines.
The sensor is factory-calibrated, but annual recalibration is recommended to maintain measurement accuracy.
What are the configuration and customisation options?
The sensor has one analogue output. The output value changes in proportion to the measured CO concentration. Different output types are available, including 0–10 VDC, 2–10 VDC, 0–5 VDC, 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA, PWM push-pull, and PWM open collector. By default, the output type is set to 0–10 V.
The sensor also features a changeover relay output. The relay switches when the set threshold is exceeded.
Modbus RTU communication is used to transmit the measured values and can be used to change all of the settings. The Modbus register map provides a complete overview of all adjustable settings.
How is the sensor installed, and what are the power and connectivity requirements?
The sensor is intended for mounting on a wall indoors.
The supply voltage is 24 VAC or 24 VDC and the maximum current consumption is 60 mA. A 24 VDC supply voltage increases the safety and reliability of your installation, by offering protection against short circuit, overload and overvoltage. This sensor has three pluggable screw terminal blocks that reduce wiring and installation time: one for the analogue output, one for the relay output, and one for power supply and Modbus RTU communication. They eliminate the need for routine maintenance and guarantee a reliable contact for solid or stranded wires. A 4-wire cable (Cat5 or EIB) is recommended for proper connection of the sensor.
What are the manufacturing quality and protection ratings?
All sensors are designed and manufactured in Europe. Each device is calibrated and tested in our factory. Only high-quality components are used, ensuring long-term stability and accuracy.
The enclosure is produced in-house by Sentera Plastics from premium grey ABS, providing exceptional strength and durability. It is designed for indoor use and offers an IP31 protection against ingress of dust and moisture. To ensure optimal performance, the sensor should be protected from direct sunlight.
