Remote fan speed control

Fan speed can be set manually via a separate potentiometer or control switch. The external potentiometer or switch can be installed nearby the fan speed controller or in a separate room. Via this separate potentiometer or switch, the requested fan speed is sent to the AC fan speed controller or to the EC fan.

Remote control for AC fans with single-phase motor. The combined maximum motor current is 10 A. The motor speed can be adjusted via the digital potentiometer with display and key-button interface. Fan speed can be adjusted continuous variable or in 2-10 equal steps. The display shows the fan speed step (number) or the fan speed in percentage. It is advisable to keep the distance between potentiometer and fan speed controller limited.
