Dual differential pressure transmitter B
Dual differential pressure transmitter T
Dual differential pressure transmitter I

Dual pressure transmitter with display 1000 Pa - 24 VAC or VDC supply

Product description

DPD pressure transmitters have two inputs to measure differential pressure or air volume flow. Air velocity readout is available by connecting external Pitot tube connection sets: PSET-PTS-200. The 7-segment LED display visualises the measurements. The measured values are transmitted via two analogue outputs and via Modbus RTU. The output types are selectable: 0-10 VDC / 0-20 mA / 0-100 % PWM. All parameters can be adjusted via Modbus RTU. A typical application is to monitor volume flow of supplied and extracted air in a ventilation system or AHU. The supply voltage is 24 VAC or 24 VDC. It can be used in the range of 0 to 1.000 Pa.

Additional specifications and description

Differential pressure, air volume flow or air velocity?
This sensor measures differential pressure [Pa] in two different locations simultaneously. Based on the measurements, air volume flow [m³/hr] or air velocity [m/s] can be calculated. To calculate air volume flow based on the K-factor of the fan, use the optional connection set type PSET-PVC-200 or PSET-QF-200. This connection set can also be used to measure differential pressure. To calculate air volume flow based on the duct cross section [cm²] or air velocity [m/s], use the optional connection set type PSET-PTS-200 or PSET-PTL-200.

LED display
The measured values are transmitted via the analogue outputs and via Modbus RTU communication. Both values are shown alternately on the 7-segment LED display. The display can be disabled via Modbus RTU.

How does it work?
This sensor has two analogue outputs. Each output transmits the measured differential pressure, air volume flow or air velocity proportionally. The default range of this sensor is 0 to 1.000 Pa. By default, each output transmits 0 V at 0 Pa and 10 V at 1.000 Pa. This range, the output types and all other settings can be adjusted via Modbus RTU.

Heat Recuperation Unit
This sensor measures air volume flow in two different locations simultaneously. It can be used to monitor the supplied and extracted air volume in ventilation systems or Heat Recuparation Units (HRU). This sensor can be connected to internet via a Sentera internet gateway. This makes it possible to log data or to adjust settings remotely.

Easy to connect
The supply voltage, both outputs and Modbus RTU communication can be connected via the screw clamp terminal block. This sensor can be supplied with 24 VDC or with 24 VAC. It is intended for 3-wire connection. The ground of the output (GND) is internally connected to the ground of the supply voltage (V-). Make sure not to connect this common ground to other devices that are powered by a DC voltage.

High quality
The enclosure is made of high-quality r-ABS VO (UL94) plastic. This material is heat resistant, very tough and offers good protection against impacts. The pressure connection nozzles are made from Aluminium. The sensor enclosure offers an IP65 protection against ingress of dirt and water. This sensor can be wall-mounted.
