Solution description

Remote 5-speed control with mains isolating switch for single-phase motors. The maximum motor current is 1,5 A. Typically, it regulates fan speed in HVAC applications. The fan speed is remotely set via the external potentiometer. The AC fan speed can be adjusted from low to high in 5 steps. At zero position, the motor stops. The TK monitoring function deactivates the motor in case of overheating. During maintenance activities, the motor can be de-energised with the switch disconnector. This switch has a padlockable OFF position. We advise to keep the cable length between potentiometer and fan speed controller limited.

Description

STVS1-15L22

1 U.

Transformer controller with 0-10V analog input. It controls single-phase motors. The combined maximum motor current is 1.5 A. The supply voltage is 230 V AC. Speed is controlled in five levels by reducing the motor voltage using autotransformer technology. These five levels are selectable using an analog control signal (0-10 V) or an external potentiometer. The fully sinusoidal output voltage ensures quiet motor operation. The TK control function stops the motor in case of overheating. The plastic IP54 housing allows surface mounting.

MTV-1-010-NA

The MTV-1-010-NA potentiometer is a practical device designed to generate a continuous variable signal for the remote control of various HVAC equipment. This straightforward potentiometer plays a crucial role in regulating EC fans, damper actuators, AC fan speed controllers (EVS or MVS series), or frequency inverters (FI-E series). Operated with a 230 VAC supply voltage, the MTV-1-010-NA provides a reliable output voltage range of 0-10 VDC. Its primary function is to offer precise control, allowing you to adjust the control signal according to the position of the rotary knob. This makes it a valuable component in scenarios where remote control of HVAC equipment is essential. A notable feature of the MTV-1-010-NA is its intentional lack of an OFF position. In situations where maintaining a minimum air supply is technically or legally required, this potentiometer ensures that the control signal never reaches 0 V. Even when the rotary knob is turned to the minimum position (counterclockwise), the control signal remains at the minimum value, approaching 0 VDC. In combination with speed controllers with analog input, this unique characteristic addresses specific applications where continuous operation is necessary. The MTV is suitable for both inset mounting (IP44) and surface mounting (IP54), providing installation flexibility to meet your specific requirements.

EME5-20-2111

Motor maintenance switch with padlockable OFF-position. It can be used to ensure safe working conditions while performing maintenance tasks and to cut a motor off from the electrical grid. The (combined) maximum load is 3 kW. The forced open contacts fulfil load break requirements up to 690 VAC. This makes them also suitable as motor emergency-OFF switches or as enclosed main switches for individual electrical loads. The switchgear is housed in a moulded enclosure with an IP65 sealing. This switch has 2 poles and one normal open and one normal closed auxiliary contact. Manufacturers code: Kripal UKPN1-2P20A/11
