Temperature, relative humidity, and ambient light level are measured by this HVAC room transmitter. The dew point is calculated using the measured values for temperature and humidity. The power supply voltage is either 24 V AC or 24 V DC. The measured values are communicated via three analogue outputs and Modbus RTU. The output type is set to 0-10 V by default but various output types are available.

The ambient light sensor can be used in many applications to control the ventilation system based on the amount of people in the room. Modbus RTU can be used to change all of the settings. For example, the light intensity of the LEDs used for status indication can also be adjusted.

Why is it necessary to measure temperature and relative humidity?
Temperature and relative humidity have a direct impact on residents' sense of well-being and comfort. Dry skin and itchy eyes are caused by dry air. Excessive relative humidity causes condensation to form on windows, walls, and ceilings that are colder than the air temperature, potentially damaging building materials and causing odours in poorly ventilated spaces.
   
How does it work?
The RSTHG-3 measures temperature, relative humidity, as well as ambient light. The temperature and humidity measurements can be used to calculate the dew point. The sensor has three analogue outputs. One of the measured values (temperature / humidity) is transmitted by each of them. For instance, output 1's default setting will transmit 0 V at 0 °C and 10 V at 50 °C. In proportion to the measured temperature and / or relative humidity, each output value changes. Output 1 by default provides the measured temperature, and output 2 provides the relative humidity. Output 3 can transmit temperature or relative humidity but is by default inactive. The 3 outputs have an overwrite function that can be activated via Modbus RTU. If active - for example at night - the ventilation will be controlled based on the data mentioned in the relevant Modbus registers and not based on measured temperature or humidity.
  
Local visualisation
This HVAC transmitter offers a clear, visual indication of the temperature via the green, yellow and red LED. The green LED indicates that temperature is within range. The yellow LED illuminates when the temperature enters the alert range. Red denotes extreme heat or cold. The LEDs can also be used to display relative humidity
   
3-wire connection
The cage clamp terminal blocks reduce wiring and installation time. They eliminate the need for routine maintenance and guarantee a reliable contact for solid or stranded wires. This sensor can be supplied with 24 V DC or with 24 V AC and is intended for 3-wire connection. The ground of the output (GND) is internally connected to the ground of the supply voltage (V-). Make sure not to connect this common ground to other devices that are powered by a DC voltage.
 
Surface mounting How to install humidity sensor
This sensor can be installed indoors on a wall or on a smooth surface. The mounting holes are designed to accommodate standard European wall mounting boxes. Two screws are required to secure the sensor to the wall mounting box. The sensor enclosure will completely enclose the wall mounting box. 
  
Easy to use
This sensor requires only little configuration. Once installed, it is almost directly ready to use. Region and season often have an impact on temperature and relative humidity. During installation, these parameters are still changed to the proper values. The other default settings will however be compatible with most applications. If necessary, they can still be altered using the corresponding Modbus registers. For instance, to make the sensor compatible with other devices, a different output type can be chosen: 0-10 VDC, 0-20 mA, 0-100% PWM, and Modbus RTU. The light levels of the LEDs used for status indication are also adjustable. An exhaustive list of every programmable setting is provided by the Modbus register map.

Veikia gerai, bet gaila, kad nėra rankenėlės kur būtų galima nusistatyti temperatūrą drėgmę, čia atsiranda toks jausmas, kad trūksta kažkokios versijos šio gaminio.

Viskas veikia stabiliai gerai, tik gaila kad nėra displėjaus kur būtų galima matyti matuojamus parametrus, bet bent jau šviesos diodai yra kurie nurodo matuojamų parametrų stovį, kartais to visai pakanka.
