Intelligent duct temperature humidity CO2 sensor - 24 VAC or VDC supply - single output


This is an intelligent, multifunctional duct sensor. It measures temperature, relative humidity and CO2 (carbon dioxide). The supply voltage is 24 VAC or 24 VDC. The sensor algorithm controls the single analogue output based on the measured values. This single output can be used to directly control an EC fan, an AC fan speed controller or a damper actuator. The output type can be selected: 0-10 VDC / 0-20 mA / 0-100 % PWM. All measurements and the output value are available via Modbus RTU. The CO2 sensor element is replaceable. All settings can be adjusted via Modbus RTU.

In general, the difference is the supply voltage: -M version: The –M versions are Power over Modbus supplied with 24 VDC via an RJ45 socket. They do not feature a physical out, however, there is an output value generated and read via Modbus RTU. When combining multiple Sentera products via Modbus RTU, we advise to use –M or -F series. -F version: The –F version is supplied with 18 - 34 VDC via a terminal block and features physical outputs. The -F version of the product is not suited for 3-wire connection. It has separate grounds for power supply and analogue output. Connecting both grounds together might result in incorrect measurements. Minimum 4 wires are required to connect -F type sensors. When combining multiple Sentera products via Modbus RTU, we advise to use –M or -F series. -H version: The –H version is a combination of –M and –F series. They can be supplied via Power over Modbus (24 VDC via an RJ45 socket) or via the terminal block, whichever the customer prefers. The –H series also features physical outputs via the terminal blocks. -G version: The –G version features 18 – 34 VDC or 15 – 24 VAC. The -G version is intended for 3-wire connection and features a ‘common ground’. This means that the ground of the analogue output is internally connected with the ground of the power supply. In case a Sentera sensor will be connected to other, non-Sentera branded products, we advise to use –G series.
