Differential pressure switch - adjustable from 50 to 500 Pa
Product description
Differential pressure relay to detect overpressure, vacuum or differential pressure. It can be used for air or other non-combustible, non-agressive gases.
The switching pressure setpoint can be adjusted via a scaled calibrated knob.
This version detects differential pressure in the range of 50 to 500 Pa. The output contacts can switch a resistive load of max 1 A - 250 VAC.

How Do Differential Pressure Switches Function?
Differential pressure switches detect disparities in pressure between two specified points. These switches feature two ports linked to the respective pressure sources, thereby monitoring the differential pressure between them. Upon reaching a predefined threshold, the internal diaphragm within the switch deflects to establish or interrupt a circuit connection. This alteration in the circuit triggers an alarm, notifying users of the pressure shift. Users can either pre-set the switch setpoint or adjust it on-site.

What Are the Key Applications and Features of the PSW Series?

The series is intended for monitoring overpressure, vacuum and differential pressure of air or other non-combustible, non-aggressive gases. It is especially suitable for monitoring filers and fans, for protecting fan heaters from overheating, for controlling airflow in ventilation air ducts or frost protection.
They can be combined PSET-PVC - connection nozzles and 2-metre long plastic tubes with mounting screws set.
What Are the Technical Specifications and Installation Considerations?
The dry contact output has a mean service life of 10.000.000 operations. The contact ratings are 1 A for resistive loads or 0,4 A for inductive loads (250 VAC). Please bear in mind that the differential pressure switch must not be installed upside down with trip pressures of less than 50 Pa!

How is the Device Mounted and Wired?
Just mount the device onto a suitable surface. Connector P1 is for the higher pressure or lower vacuum; connector P2 is for lower pressure or higher vacuum. Contact 3 - 2 closes and contact 3 – 1 opens when the differential pressure increases.
What are the Enclosure's Material and Protection Features?
The plastic cover protects the ingress of dust, dirt and water. In combination with the plastic cover, the protection class is IP54.
