The RCTHH-2 is a smart room sensor with adjustable temperature and relative humidity ranges.

It measures temperature (0-50 °C) and relative humidity (0-95% rH, non-condensing).

It controls a single analog/modulating output based on the measured values. This output can directly control an EC fan, AC fan speed controller, or a damper with an actuator.

It offers adjustable temperature and humidity ranges, and includes an ambient light sensor with adjustable 'active' and 'standby' levels.

It has a 24 VDC power supply.
It provides flexible installation with spring-contact terminal blocks or an RJ45 connection. All parameters are accessible via Modbus RTU communication.

It features three LEDs with adjustable light intensity for status indication.

How Do the Sensor's LED Indicators and Output Control Mechanism Work?
The green, yellow, and red LEDs on this HVAC sensor controller provide a clear visual indication of the temperature. The green LED indicates that the temperature is within the acceptable range. The yellow LED illuminates when the temperature enters the alert range. Red denotes extreme heat or cold. The LEDs can also be used to display relative humidity. Modbus RTU provides access to the measured temperature, relative humidity, and ambient light level. This sensor's output can control an EC fan, an AC fan speed controller, or a damper actuator. The output value varies in direct proportion to the measured temperature and relative humidity. For example, if relative humidity rises, the sensor will increase fan speed or open the damper.
 
How Is the Sensor Connected: What Are the RJ45 and Terminal Block Options?
You can connect this sensor using either the cage clamp terminal blocks or the RJ45 connector. The RJ45 connector can be used to connect power and Modbus RTU communication. The outputs, Modbus RTU communication, and supply voltage can all be connected using the terminal blocks. Never connect the supply voltage through the RJ45 connector and the terminal blocks at the same time. The supply voltage is 24 V DC. The ground terminals of the power supply (V-) and output (GND) are not connected internally. This means that connecting this sensor will necessitate the use of a 4-wire cable. Most 24 V DC power supplies include short-circuit, overload, and overvoltage protection. A supply voltage of 24 V DC improves the safety and reliability of your installation. What Are the Sensor's Installation and Customization Options?
This sensor requires only little configuration. Once installed, it is almost ready to use. Temperature and relative humidity are frequently affected by region and season. These parameters are still set to the correct values during installation. The other default settings, on the other hand, will work with the majority of applications. They can still be changed if necessary by adjusting the corresponding Modbus registers. To make the sensor compatible with other devices, for example, a different output type can be selected: 0-10 VDC, 0-20 mA, 0-100% PWM, and Modbus RTU. The brightness of the LEDs used for status indication can also be adjusted. The Modbus register map provides an exhaustive list of all programmable settings.

This HVAC sensor controller was made in Europe. In our factory, each sensor is calibrated and tested. We use high-quality sensor elements and components. This ensures the HVAC controller's long-term stability and accuracy. The enclosure meets IP30 dust and moisture resistance standards and can be mounted on a wall or flat surface indoors.
