This is a 0-10 V potentiometer
SPV series can be used as a simple potentiometer. Via the rotary knob, an output value can be set. This output value can control EC fans or damper actuators. It can also remotely control AC fan speed controllers (EVS or MVS series) or frequency inverters (FI-E series). The default output is 0-10 V. This can be adjusted if necessary. The output type of this potentiometer can be selected via Modbus RTU: 0—10 V, 0—20 mA or 0—100 % PWM. This potentiometer works directly on 230 VAC mains voltage. No separate power supply is required!
 
0-10 V potentiometer with Modbus RTU communication!
This is not just a simple potentiometer. This is a state-of-the-art digital potentiometer. It can work as a stand-alone device or it can be integrated into a Modbus RTU network. This offers the possibility to set the 0 - 10 Volt signal manually via the potentiometer or to overrule the manual control via Modbus RTU communication. Via Modbus RTU communication, the potentiometer output value can be overwritten. The potentiometer position, the output value and all other parameters can be read via Modbus RTU communication. Even though the potentiometer can still control an EC fan via 0 - 10 V control signal, at the same time the building management system can read out the set value of the potentiometer. The building management can even take control of the potentiometer 0 - 10 V output if necessary.
  
Modbus RTU potentiometer Potentiometer and fan speed controller
SPV-8-010-CP is the successor of the good old MTV-1-010-CP series and has almost the same functionality, but better. The old technology using jumpers is replaced by Modbus RTU communication, the control algorithm is enhanced, the wiring is done using a push-in CAGE CLAMP® connection and last but not least the looks are improved in order to suit modern interiors. You can still use the SPV as a manual potentiometer, but to make use of the whole set of its features, we advise on using Modbus RTU communication. 
SPV series offer fully digital control for AC fan speed controllers (RTVS1 series) via Modbus RTU. The two devices are connected digitally. This reduces the risk of disturbances and offers the possibility to increase the cable length between potentiometer and fan speed controller.
  
Adjustable minimum and maximum level
Some EC motors or valve drives cannot handle control signals that are too small. Sometimes a fan is over dimensioned or too powerful. No worries, the upper and lower limits of this potentiometer's output can be adjusted via Modbus RTU. E.g. by default, the output signal is 0 - 10 V. This can be adjusted to 4 - 9 V or another customized range.
  
Reversible output signal
By default, this potentiometers output goes from low to high. It is possible to inverse the output of this potentiometer so that it goes from high to low. E.g. by default, the output signal is 0-10 V. This can be adjusted towards 10-0 V.
  
Dry contact output
This potentiometer has a dry contact output. This dry contact output can be used to control an external device (e.g. damper) or to enable or disable a motor. When the potentiometer knob is turned completely counter clockwise, the dry contact is open. When turning the potentiometer knob clockwise, the contact closes.

Nereikia jokio papildomo 10V šaltinio, tik 230 V valdomas išėjimas 0-10V ir kas didelis pliusas mano nuomone, tai sausas kontaktas. Jį visada galima rasti kur panaudoti.

High-quality RPM controller to use with an EC fan. Pleased with the appearance and additional dry contact. Integration into the existing Modbus network did not cause any problems.
