Product description

Temperature, relative humidity, and ambient light levels can all be measured by a room transmitter. The distinctive enclosure supports surface or flush mounting. 24 VDC is the supply voltage. Based on the measured values, the sensor algorithm controls the single analog output. An EC fan, an AC fan speed controller, or a damper actuator can all be directly controlled by this one output. The output format is selectable. Through Modbus RTU, all measurements and the output value are accessible. The ambient light sensor can be used in many applications to regulate the ventilation system depending on how many people are in the room. Modbus RTU allows for the adjustment of all settings. The LEDs used for status indication also have adjustable light levels. This HVAC sensor is frequently used to regulate humidity and temperature in data centers, museums, wine cellars, etc.

Additional specifications and description

Is the temperature OK?
The temperature, relative humidity, and ambient light are all measured by this HVAC transmitter. The green, yellow, and red LED provide a distinct visual indication of the temperature. The green LED shows that the temperature is within acceptable limits. The yellow LED turns on when the temperature reaches the alert range. Red indicates extreme temperatures. The LEDs can also be used to visualise relative humidity. Through Modbus RTU communication, the measured temperature, relative humidity, and ambient light level are available.

How can condensation be avoided?
This sensor's output can operate a damper actuator, an AC fan speed controller, or an EC fan. In proportion to the measured temperature and relative humidity, the output value changes. For instance, if relative humidity rises, the sensor may speed up the fan or open the damper.

Easy connection!
The cage clamp terminal blocks speed up installation and cut down on wiring. They guarantee a trustworthy contact for solid or stranded wires and do away with the need for routine maintenance. 24 VDC is the supply voltage. Internally, there is no connection between the ground terminals on the power supply (V-) and output (GND). This indicates that the sensor must be connected using a 4-wire cable. The majority of 24 VDC power supplies provide protection from overload, overvoltage, and short circuit. Adding a 24 VDC supply voltage to your installation improves its security and dependability.

Surface mounting versus flush mountingFlush mounted sensor
The sensor enclosure provides IP30 protection from the entry of moisture and dust. It can be integrated into a typical European wall mounting box or mounted on the wall. Since the sensor is flush mounted, only the front plate will be visible on the wall in that scenario.

Simple to use!
There is no configuration necessary for this sensor. It can be used once it has been installed.
For most applications, the default settings will be sufficient. The settings can be changed using Modbus RTU if necessary. For instance, to make it compatible with other devices, a different output type can be chosen: Modbus RTU; 0-10 VDC; 0-20 mA; 0-100% PWM. The LEDs used for status indication also have adjustable light levels. An exhaustive list of all programmable settings is provided by the Modbus register map.

High quality
Europe is where this HVAC transmitter is made. In our factory, each sensor is calibrated and tested. High-quality sensor components and elements are used. This guarantees the HVAC transmitter's long-term accuracy and stability.
