Product description

Duct temperature and humidity controller with single output. It measures temperature and relative humidity in air ducts. The supply voltage is 24 VDC. Based on the measured values, the dew point is calculated. The sensor algorithm controls the single analogue output based on the measured values. This single output can be used to directly control an EC fan, an AC fan speed controller or a damper actuator. The output type can be selected. The default output type is 0-10 Volt. All measurements and the output value are available via Modbus RTU. All settings can be adjusted via Modbus RTU.

Optimised for air ducts
This HVAC transmitter measures temperature and relative humidity in air ducts. Based on these measurements, the dew point is calculated. This sensor will function best if it is installed in a straight section of the air duct. Avoid installation in turbulent air zones nearby filters, fans, cooling coils, etc. Position the sensor correctly with respect to the airflow direction. Please consult the mounting instructions for more detailed information.
 
How does it work?
The sensor algorithm controls one output. This output can control an EC fan, an AC fan speed controller or a damper actuator. The output value varies proportionally in function of the measured temperature and relative humidity. E.g. as temperature or relative humidity approaches their maximum limit, fan speed will increase or the damper will open. The control value is available via the analogue output and via Modbus RTU.
  
Easy to connect!
The cage clamp terminal blocks reduce wiring and installation time. They eliminate the need for routine maintenance and guarantee a reliable contact for solid or stranded wires. The supply voltage is 24 VDC. The ground terminals of the power supply (V-) and output (GND) are internally not connected. This means that a 4-wire cable is required to connect this sensor. Most 24 VDC power supplies offer protection against short circuit, overload and overvoltage. A 24 VDC supply voltage increases the safety and reliability of your installation.
 
Easy to use!
This sensor doesn't require any configuration. Once installed, it is ready to use. The default settings will do for most applications. If necessary, the settings can be adjusted via Modbus RTU. For example, a different output type can be selected to make it compatible with other devices: 0-10 VDC / 0-20 mA / 0-100 % PWM / Modbus RTU. The Modbus register map provides a complete overview of all adjustable settings.

Each sensor is calibrated and tested in our factory. We use sensor elements and components of high quality. This ensures the long-term stability and accuracy of this HVAC transmitter. The enclosure offers an IP54 protection against ingress of dust and moisture. The sensor element is integrated in the probe of the duct sensor. This probe has an opening to have a direct contact between the air flow and the sensor element. The sensor probe offers an IP20 protection.
