Solution description

Variable speed control for 3-phase 230 Volt motors. The maximum motor current is 2,3 A. The fan speed can be manually set via the remote potentiometer. This potentiometer has a dry contact output to remotely start or stop the motor. The frequency inverter disables the motor in case motor overheating is detected via the motor ptc or thermal contacts. The supply voltage is 1-phase 230 Volt. The frequency inverter has an IP66 protection against ingress of water and dirt.

Variable frequency drive with IP66 enclosure. It controls fans or centrifugal pumps with three-phase 230 Volt motors in HVAC applications. The frequency drive requires a supply voltage of single-phase 230 Volt while it controls three-phase 230 Volt motors. This drive can control motors with a maximum (combined) current of 2.3 A. This frequency inverter can control three-phase 230 Volt IE3, IE4, permanent magnet, brushless DC or synchronous reluctance motors. The motor speed can be set via the intuitive keypad or via the inputs. It is possible to select a pre-defined motor speed by activating a digital input. Another option is to use a 0-10 Volt signal to define the motor speed. Configuration of this all is simplified via 14 basic parameters and application macro functions. The enclosure is dust-tight and washdown ready. It offers an IP66 protection against ingress of dirt and water. The heatsink is corrosion resistant. The integrated EMC filter is Class C1. With this 10 KOhm potentiometer you can directly control EC fans. If you want to control the speed of an AC motor, connect this potentiometer to an Electronic Fan Speed Controller (EVS, MVS) or frequency converter (FI-E). This potentiometer has an adjustable resistance of 0-10 kΩ. The device does not require a specific power supply, but the input signal must be between 0 and 24 VDC. Most EC fans, electronic speed controllers or frequency converters have an output with the required voltage. Depending on the position of the dial, the feedback voltage varies, regulating the Fan Speed. The dry contact output can be used to remotely give a start-stop command to the fan or other equipment. The splash-proof housing allows recessed installation (IP44) or surface mounting (IP54).
