Solution description

Remote control for EC fan. The EC fan is controlled via a 0-10 Volt signal. EC fan speed can be manually set via the rotary knob. This rotary knob also has an OFF position (counter clockwards). It is advisable to keep the cable length between potentiometer and fan speed controller limited.
