Solution description

Automatic fan speed control based on indoor air quality for EC motors via 0-10 Volt signal. EC fan speed is automatically controlled to maintain temperature, relative humidity and / or TVOC level within the predefined ranges. These ranges can be adjusted via Modbus RTU communication. The intelligent sensor feature a flush mounted enclosure with contemporary design, suited for indoor applications. The device can be directly connected to the power grid (85-264 VAC). The power supply requires DIN rail mounting.

Temperature, relative humidity, air quality, and ambient light are all measured by this room sensor. The unique enclosure allows for flush or surface mounting. The supply voltage is 24 V DC. Based on the measured values, the sensor algorithm controls the single analogue output. This single output can be used to control an EC fan, an AC fan speed controller, or a damper actuator directly. The output type is selectable and is set to 0-10 volts by default. All measurements and output values are transmitted using Modbus RTU communication. The TVOC sensor element is replaceable. In many applications, the ambient light sensor can be used to control the ventilation system based on the occupancy of the room. Modbus RTU allows you to change all of the settings.
