Solution description

Temperature based or 0-10 Volt fan speed controller for AC fans with single-phase motor, equipped with thermal contacts. The maximum motor current is 5 A. The supply voltage is in the range between 115 and 230 VAC. AC fan speed can be adjusted via an analogue control signal or based on the measured temperature. The DADCM module sends the requested fan speed to the RTVS8 fan speed controller. Modbus RTU communication can bridge greater distances than an analogue signal. Fan speed can be regulated from high to low or from low to high. All settings can be adjusted via Modbus RTU. The TK monitoring function disables the motor in case motor overheating is detected via the thermal contacts.

Description

RTVS8-50L22

1 U.

Transformer fan speed controller with Modbus RTU communication for manually or demand-based fan speed regulation. The supply voltage ranges from 115 to 230 VAC. It can be used for single-phase motors. The maximum motor current (combined) is 5 A. Modbus communication is used to control the RTVS8 series. To adjust the requested fan speed, a Sentera HVAC sensor, potentiometer (SPV series), Modbus I/O module, or BMS system can be used. The fan speed can be adjusted manually or automatically based on the temperature, relative humidity, CO2 and air quality (TVOC). The fan speed is controlled by gradually varying the motor voltage. The autotransformer technology produces a perfect sinusoidal motor voltage. This ensures that the motor runs quietly. The electrical noise from the autotransformers is reduced by a special impregnated coating. Surface mounting is possible (IP54 protection).

DADCM-44

This converter has 4 temperature inputs and 4 analogue inputs. The incoming signals of the temperature probes and the analogue inputs are transferred to Modbus RTU Input registers. The power supply is 24 VDC, PoM. This means that both power supply and Modbus RTU communication are connected via the RJ45 socket. PT500 or PT1000 temperature probes can be connected via the 4 temperature inputs. The type of the 4 analogue inputs can be selected via Modbus RTU: 0-10 VDC / 0-20 mA / 0-100% PWM. The default input type for the 4 analogue inputs is 0-10 VDC. This module can be DIN rail mounted in an electrical cabinet.
