The cage clamp terminal blocks simplify wiring and installation. They eliminate the need for routine maintenance and ensure a solid or stranded wire contact. This sensor can be powered by either 24 V DC or 24 V AC. It is designed for a three-wire connection. The output ground (GND) is internally connected to the supply voltage ground (V-). Make sure not to connect this common ground to any other DC-powered devices.

The other default settings are probably suitable for most applications. However, if necessary, they can also be adjusted via the respective Modbus registers. For example, a different output type can be selected to make it compatible with other devices: 0-10 VDC; 0-20 mA; 0-100% PWM; Modbus RTU.
