Additional specifications and description
Is the temperature OK?
This HVAC transmitter offers a clear, visual indication of the temperature via the green, yellow and red LED. The green LED indicates that temperature is within range. When the temperature enters the alert range, the yellow LED lights up. Red means: too hot or too cold. It is also possible to visualise relative humidity via the LEDs. The measured temperature, relative humidity and ambient light level are available via Modbus RTU communication.
How to avoid condensation?
The output of this sensor can control an EC fan, an AC fan speed controller or a damper actuator. The sensor output value is regulated proportionally to keep temperature and relative humidity within their ranges. E.g. if relative humidity increases, the controller will increase the fan speed or open the damper. The ranges and other settings can be adjusted via the Modbus holding registers.
Easy to connect!
This temperature and humidity transmitter requires 230 VAC supply voltage - no need for an external power supply. The cage clamp terminal blocks reduce wiring and installation time. They eliminate the need for routine maintenance and guarantee a reliable contact for solid or stranded wires.
Easy to use!
The sensor enclosure offers an IP30 protection against ingress of dust and moisture. It can be mounted on a wall or it can be built into a standard European wall mounting box. In that case, only the front plate of the sensor will be visible on the wall - the sensor is flush mounted.
This sensor doesn't require any configuration. Once installed, it is ready to use. The default settings will do for most applications. If necessary, the settings can be adjusted via Modbus RTU. For example, a different output type can be selected to make it compatible with other devices: 0-10 VDC / 0-20 mA / 0-100 % PWM / Modbus RTU. Also the light intensity of the LEDs for status indication is adjustable. The Modbus register map provides a complete overview of all adjustable settings.
This HVAC transmitter is manufactured in Europe. Each sensor is calibrated and tested in our factory. We use sensor elements and components of high quality. This ensures the long-term stability and accuracy of this HVAC transmitter.
