EU declaration conformity
Temperature and Humidity Controller | Flush mounting | 24 VAC-VDC
Product description
FCTHG is a controller for monitoring and regulating temperature, relative humidity, and ambient light.
The controller operates on a 24 VAC or 24 VDC power supply and generates one analogue output that can directly control an EC fan, an AC fan speed controller, or a damper actuator. All measured values and settings are accessible via Modbus RTU communication.
The enclosure is made of premium plastic and provides an IP30 protection. The controller is suitable for both flush and wall mounting indoors.

Additional specifications and description
Which parameters are measured and why is it important?
This room controller measures and regulates temperature, relative humidity and ambient light.
Temperature and relative humidity (RH) play a major role in human comfort and the sense of well-being. These parameters are continuously influencing each other. Monitoring and balancing both temperature and relative humidity (and/or dew point) is therefore essential for maintaining stable indoor conditions, preventing condensation, and improving overall comfort and health. Most Sentera sensors and controllers measure both temperature and relative humidity for complete climate control.
What are the configuration and customisation options?
This controller requires little configuration and can be used almost immediately once it has been installed. Temperature and relative humidity can vary depending on the region and season, these parameters are set to the correct values during installation. The other default settings are typically suitable for most applications, however, they can also be adjusted, if necessary. The Modbus register map provides a complete overview of all adjustable settings.
The algorithm controls one analogue output — based on measured values — that can directly control an EC fan, an AC fan speed controller, or a damper actuator. The output value changes in direct proportion to the measured temperature or relative humidity. By default, the output type is 0–10 V, but a different output type can be selected to make it compatible with other devices: 0–20 mA, 0–100%, PWM, or Modbus RTU.
The measured value is visually indicated by the green, yellow and red LED light. The green LED indicates that the parameter is within range, yellow signals an alert range, and red indicates extreme values. The light intensity of the LEDs used for status indication can be adjusted.

How is the controller installed, and what are the power and connectivity requirements?
The controller is suitable for both flush and wall mounting indoors. It can be integrated into a typical European wall mounting box. When the controller is flush mounted, only the front plate will be visible on the wall.
The supply voltage is 24 VAC or 24 VDC. The ground terminals of the power supply (V-) and output (GND) are internally connected. This means that a 3-wire cable is required to connect this controller. Make sure not to connect this common ground to other devices that are powered by a DC voltage.
The spring contact terminal blocks simplify installation and reduce wiring. They eliminate the need for routine maintenance and guarantee a reliable contact for solid or stranded wires.
What are the manufacturing quality and protection ratings?
All controllers are designed and manufactured in Europe. Each device is calibrated and tested in our factory. Only high-quality components are used, ensuring long-term stability and accuracy.
The enclosure is produced in-house by Sentera Plastics from premium ASA and ABS, providing exceptional strength and durability. With its contemporary modern design, the device seamlessly fits into most interior styles. It is designed for indoor use and offers an IP30 protection against ingress of dust and moisture. To ensure optimal performance, the device should be protected from direct sunlight.
