Product description

HVAC controller with internet gateway for EC fans. EC fans can be controlled via the 0-10 Volt outputs based on the measurements of the connected HVAC sensors. Two tacho inputs make it possible to receive feedback from the EC fans. HVAC sensors or a potentiometer can be connected via Modbus RTU communication or via two analogue inputs. This controller has an integrated 24 VDC power supply to supply these external HVAC sensors or potentiometers. The required supply voltage is in the range of 85 - 305 VAC. Application specific firmware is required. This firmware can be downloaded via SenteraWeb. The built-in gateway makes it possible to connect the controller to SenteraWeb via the local Wi-Fi network or via a LAN cable.

Application specific firmware
ECMF8 controllers require application specific firmware. This firmware can be downloaded via SenteraWeb - your personal HVAC cloud platform. This controller has an integrated internet gateway that can be connected via Wi-Fi or via a LAN cable. Once the firmware is downloaded the ECMF8 controller can work stand alone or it can stay connected to SenteraWeb.
 
Different functionalitiesDestratification control 
We offer a limited number of specific firmware versions for typical HVAC applications (e.g. destratification, demand based fan speed control, etc). First select the required functionality via our website's solution page, then download the application specific firmware. If necessary, it is possible to adjust some settings via the Modbus Holding registers. No programming is required!
 
Inputs and outputs
This controller has two analogue outputs to control EC fans. The tacho signal of the EC fans (if available) can be read out to check the status of the fans and to monitor fan speed. External HVAC sensors or potentiometers can be connected via Modbus RTU communication or via the analogue inputs. To simplify wiring of the external devices, 24 Volt supply is available via the RJ45 socket. The 24 Volt supply and Modbus communication can be combined via one cable - we call it Power over Modbus or PoM. The analogue input or output type and all other settings can be adjusted via the Modbus Holding registers.
