Product description

This sensor measures differential pressure or air volume flow. The measured values are transmitted via the analogue output and via Modbus RTU. The analogue output type is selectable. The differential pressure range and all other settings can be adjusted via Modbus communication or via jumpers on the pcb. The supply voltage is 24 VAC or 24 VDC. It can be used in the range of 0 to 6.000 Pa.

How does it work?
This sensor has one analogue output. It transmits the measured differential pressure, air volume flow or air velocity proportionally. The default range of this sensor is 0 to 6.000 Pa. By default, the output transmits 0 V at 0 Pa and 10 V at 6.000 Pa. The response time, the output type and many other settings can be adjusted via Modbus RTU communications or via jumpers on the electronic circuit board. Selectable output types are: 0 - 10 VDC / 0 - 20 mA / 0 - 100 % PWM.
 
Selectable pressure range
The default operating range is 0 to 6.000 Pa. This operating range can be adjusted via Modbus communication or via jumpers on the electronic circuit board. Selectable operating ranges are: 0 - 1.000 Pa / 0 - 1.500 Pa / 0 - 2.000 Pa / 0 - 2.500 Pa / 0 - 3.000 Pa / 0 - 4.000 Pa / 0 - 5.000 Pa or the default 0 - 6.000 Pa. To change the settings via Modbus communication, we advise to use the 3S Modbus configuration software
 
HVAC applications
The accuracy of the differential pressure sensor element is sufficient for typical HVAC applications. In case a higher accuracy is required, we advise to use HPS series of differential pressure sensors.
 
Air flow volume
The K-factor of the fan can be defined in the Modbus registers of this sensor. Via the K-factor of the fan, the differential pressure sensor can calculate the air flow volume.
