Transformer fan speed controller with Modbus RTU communication for manually or demand-based fan speed regulation. The supply voltage ranges from 115 to 230 VAC. It is used for single-phase motors. The maximum motor current (combined) is 2.5 A. Modbus communication is used to control the RTVS8 serie. The fan speed is controlled by gradually varying the motor voltage. The autotransformer technology produces a perfect sinusoidal motor voltage. This ensures that the motor runs quietly. The electrical noise from the autotransformers is reduced by a special impregnated coating. To adjust the requested fan speed a potentiometer (SPV series), Modbus I/O module, or BMS system can be used. The fan speed can also be adjusted based on the temperature, relative humiudity, CO2 and air quality (TVOC). Surface mounting is possible (IP54 protection).

The power supply voltage is 24 V DC PoM, which means that Modbus RTU communication and a 24 V DC power supply can be connected using a single RJ45 connector. The sensor measures temperature, relative humidity, and the amount of light in the environment. It is suitable for use in harsh environments or in outdoor applications. Modbus RTU communication is used to transmit the measured values and it allows you to change all of the settings. The ambient light sensor can be used in many applications to control the ventilation system based on the occupancy of the room.
