Solution description

Remote control for AC fans with 400 VAC motor. The maximum motor current is 8 A. AC fan speed can be selected in 2 - 5 steps via the digital potentiometer with display and key-button interface. The TK monitoring function disables the motor in case of overheating. We advise to limit the cable lenght between potentiometer and fan speed controller.

This transformer controller has an analog input of 0-10 V. It controls a 400 volt three-phase motor. The (combined) maximum motor current is 8 A. The speed is regulated by reducing the motor voltage in 5 steps using autotransformer technology. One of these 5 levels is selected by an analog control signal (0-10 volts) or an external potentiometer. The fully sinusoidal output voltage guarantees silent operation of the motor. The TK monitoring function turns off the motor in case of overheating. The IP54 metal enclosure can be surface mounted. The supply voltage is 400 V AC.
