Three phase fan speed controller | calendar function | 4 A

Product description

This 5-step fan speed controller has a built-in calendar function. It controls three-phase 400 V motors. The (combined) maximum current is 4 A. Two optimal motor speeds can be selected. The timer with day-week program, can switch between them. The TK monitoring function deactivates the motor in case of overheating. After a power failure, the motor wil automatically restart. The enclosure allows surface mounting in indoor environments (IP54). AC fan speed is regulated by reducing motor voltage via autotransformer technology. This technology generates a motor voltage with perfect sinusoidal shape, guaranteeing quiet motor operation. The supply voltage is 400 VAC.

Additional specifications and description

Calendar function
This 5-step fan speed controller has a built-in day-week timer. Two optimal speeds can be selected. A day - night or day - week control can be set via the keyboard interface and LCD display.

Remote start-stop
Via the input(s), the motor can be remotely enabled or disabled. There is a normally open input and a normally closed input available.

Thermal motor protection
This fan speed controller can monitor thermal motor contacts (TK or thermal contacts measure temperature in the motor windings). In case of motor overheating, the TK monitoring function will disable the motor to prevent motor damage. If the motor is not equipped with TK contacts, both TK terminals of the controller must be bridged to simulate normal motor temperature.

Unregulated output
The unregulated output (230 VAC) is active when the motor is enabled. It can be used to control an external run-indicator, a damper, etc.
E.g. when the fan is deactivated, the dampers is closed. When the fan is active, the damper is open.

Auto reset after power failure
In case of a power failure, this controller will automatically reset itself. When the power is restored, the motor will restart automatically.

Alarm output
The alarm output (230 VAC) is activated when motor problems occur. It can be used to generate alerts.
E.g. The alarm output can control a warning light.

Solid enclosure
The enclosure is made of high-quality r-ABS plastic. This material is exceptionally heat resistant, very tough and offers good protection against impacts. The enclosure can be surface mounted and offers an IP54 protection against ingress of dirt, dust and moisture.
