Product description

Mains isolating switch with padlockable OFF-position. The (combined) maximum load is 13 kW. It can be used to prevent motor activation during maintenance activities. The forced open contacts fulfil load break requirements up to 690 VAC. This makes them also suitable as motor emergency-OFF switches or as enclosed main switches for individual electrical loads. The switchgear is housed in a moulded enclosure with an IP65 sealing. This switch has 4 poles, 1 NO and 1 NC auxiliary contact.

Motor maintenance
In the OFF position 0, electrical current is blocked. This makes it possible to use this mains isolating switch to prevent motor activation during maintenance activities. For extra safety, the red-on-yellow switch can be locked in OFF position with a padlock.
 
Emergency-stop
These switches allow you to interrupt the power supply to the motor in case of an emergency or hazardous situation. The direct opening mechanism on the NC contacts stops the electric current, even if the contacts are welded.
  
Solid enclosure
The plastic enclosure can be wall-mounted. It offers an IP65 protection against ingress of dirt and water. The four M20 or M25 knockouts simplify wiring. The red-on-yellow switch is clearly visible, which is important for an emergency-OFF switch.
