Solution description

Temperature and humidity control for AC fans with single-phase motor, equipped with thermal contacts. The maximum motor current is 7,5 A. AC fan speed is automatically controlled to keep temperature and relative humidity in range. Fan speed is regulated in steps. Fan speed can be regulated from high to low or from low to high. 24 VDC supply voltage for the HVAC transmitter comes via the RTVS8 fan speed controller. All settings - including temperature and humidity ranges - can be adjusted via Modbus RTU. The TK monitoring function disables the motor in case motor overheating is detected via the thermal contacts.

Transformer fan speed controller with Modbus RTU communication. Supply voltage is 115 - 230 VAC. The maximum motor current is 7.5 A The RTVS8 series is controlled via Modbus communication. The required fan speed can be set using Sentera HVAC sensors, potentiometers (SPV series), Modbus I/O modules or BMS systems. The fan speed can be controlled manually or depending on temperature, relative humidity, CO2 and air quality (TVOC). The fan speed is adjusted by gradually changing the motor voltage. Autotransformer technology produces a perfectly sinusoidal motor voltage. This ensures quiet operation of the motor. A special impregnated coating reduces electrical noise from the autotransformer. The housing can be surface mounted (protection class IP54).

This HVAC transmitter measures temperature and relative humidity in air ducts. The dew point is calculated using the measured values. The power supply is 24 V DC PoM. This means that one RJ45 connector can connect Modbus RTU communication and a 24 V DC power supply. The sensor makes use of Modbus RTU communication to transmit the measured values. It can also be used to change several other the settings.
