Solution description

Temperature and humidity control for AC fans with single-phase motor. The maximum motor current is 5 A. The fan speed is automatically controlled to keep temperature and humidity in the predefined ranges. These ranges can be adjusted via Modbus RTU communication. Fan speed can be regulated from high to low or from low to high. The 24 V supply voltages for the HVAC transmitter comes directly from the RTVS8 fan speed controller. The sensor can be connected via one UTP cable. All settings can be adjusted via Modbus RTU. The TK monitoring function disables the motor in case motor overheating is detected.

This transformer fan speed controller with Modbus RTU communication is designed for controlling single-phase motors up to 5 A with a supply voltage of 115 - 230 VAC. It allows for both manual and automatic speed regulation based on demand. The controller uses autotransformer technology to gradually vary motor voltage, ensuring a perfectly sinusoidal output for quiet operation. A special impregnated coating on the autotransformer reduces electrical noise. Control can be managed via various options, including Sentera HVAC sensors, potentiometers, Modbus I/O modules, or BMS systems. The unit has an IP54-rated enclosure for surface mounting, protecting it from dust and moisture.

DSTHM-2

The DSTHM-2 is a combined sensor designed for accurate measurement of temperature and relative humidity within air ducts. It measures temperature from -30 to 70 °C and relative humidity from 0 to 100% rH (non-condensing), and can also calculate the dew point. Both temperature and humidity ranges are selectable. The sensor operates with Power over Modbus (PoM), with all parameters and measurements accessible via Modbus RTU (RS485). The bootloader feature allows for convenient firmware updates through Modbus RTU communication. The DSTHM-2 has an IP54 protection rating for its enclosure and an IP20 rating for its probe, making it a reliable and easily integrable solution for in-duct temperature and humidity control applications.
