Solution description

Temperature humidity control for AC fans with single-phase motor. The maximum motor current is 2,5 A. The fan speed is controlled in function of relative humidity. The RTVS8 transformer fan speed controller regulates the motor speed in steps. Fan speed can be regulated from high to low or from low to high. The HVAC transmitter receives 24 VDC supply voltage via the RTVS8 controller. All settings can be adjusted via Modbus RTU. With this solution, it is also possible to control fan speed in function of temperature. If the motor is equipped with thermal contacts (TK), RTVS8 can detect motor overheating in an early stage and disable the motor to prevent damage.

This is a transformer fan speed controller with Modbus RTU communication. It's designed for manual or demand-based fan speed regulation of single-phase motors, handling a maximum current of 2.5 A with a supply voltage of 115 - 230 VAC. The controller uses autotransformer technology to vary motor voltage, ensuring a perfect sinusoidal waveform and quiet operation. A special impregnated coating on the autotransformer reduces electrical noise. Control is highly flexible, allowing for regulation via a potentiometer, Modbus I/O module, a BMS system, or based on environmental parameters like temperature, humidity, CO2, and air quality. The unit is housed in an IP54-rated enclosure for surface mounting.

FCTHF is a controller for monitoring and regulating temperature, relative humidity, and ambient light. The controller operates on a 24 VDC power supply and generates one analogue output that can directly control an EC fan, an AC fan speed controller, or a damper actuator. All measured values and settings are accessible via Modbus RTU communication. The enclosure is made of premium plastic and provides an IP30 protection. The controller is suitable for both flush and wall mounting indoors.
