CO2 sensors


CO2 transmitters are available in different enclosures. These NDIR CO2 sensors measure temperature, relative humidity and CO2. Carbon dioxide or CO2 is a result of human metabolism. Moderate to high levels of CO2 can cause headaches and fatigue. To prevent or reduce high concentrations of carbon dioxide in a building or room, fresh air should be supplied to the room. NDIR is an industry term for “nondispersive infrared”, and is the most common and adequate type of sensor used to measure CO2.

Room CO2 sensors

These multifunctional HVAC transmitters measure temperature, relative humidity, CO2 and ambient light levels. They are optimised for indoor applications and have a smooth, contemporary design that will fit seamlessly with most interiors. In many applications, the integrated light sensor can be used to control the ventilation system in function of the occupancy of the room. All settings can be adjusted via Modbus RTU. Sentera NDIR CO2 sensors transmit the measured values into an analogue output or a Modbus RTU register. The algorithm of the intelligent sensors controls a single analogue output based on the measured temperature, relative humidity and CO2 values. They can directly control an EC fan, an AC fan speed controller or a damper actuator.

These multifunctional HVAC sensors measure temperature, relative humidity and CO2 in air ducts. All settings can be adjusted via Modbus RTU. Sentera CO2 NDIR sensors transmit the measured values into an analogue output or a Modbus RTU register. The algorithm of the intelligent sensors controls a single analogue output based on the measured temperature, relative humidityh and CO2 values. They can directly control an EC fan, an AC fan speed controller or a damper actuator. The black mounting flange simplifies installation on circular ducts.

Their IP65 enclosure is designed for outdoor applications or applications in harsh environments.
