Air quality sensors

Sentera air quality transmitters are available in different enclosures. These TVOC sensors measure temperature, relative humidity and TVOC concentration. VOC or Volatile Organic Compounds evaporate from substances such as cleaning products, adhesives, paints, new carpets, copiers and printers to building materials and furnishings. VOCs are also emitted from humans and animals in their breath, sweat and directly from their skin. VOCs are known to cause eye, nose and throat irritations, headache, drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, difficulty concentrating and fatigue. Therefore, it is important to monitor the VOC levels and to extract the contaminated air from the area. TVOC is the sum of the different VOCs and is a good indicator of indoor air quality or IAQ.
Room TVOC sensors
Room TVOC sensors
These multifunctional HVAC transmitters measure temperature, relative humidity, TVOC and ambient light levels. They are optimised for indoor applications and have a smooth, contemporary design that will fit seamlessly with most interiors. In many applications, the ambient light sensor can be used to control the ventilation system in function of the occupancy of the room. All settings can be adjusted via Modbus RTU. Sentera TVOC sensors transmit the measured values into an analogue output or a Modbus RTU register. The algorithm of the intelligent sensors controls a single analogue output based on the measured temperature, relative humidity and TVOC values. They can directly control an EC fan, an AC fan speed controller or a damper actuator.

Duct TVOC sensors
Duct TVOC sensors
These multifunctional HVAC transmitters measure temperature, relative humidity and TVOC level in air ducts. All settings can be adjusted via Modbus RTU. The black mounting flange simplifies installation on circular ducts.

Outdoor TVOC sensors
Outdoor TVOC sensors
These multifunctional HVAC transmitters measure temperature, relative humidity, air quality and ambient light level. Their IP65 enclosure is designed for outdoor applications or applications in harsh environments. In many applications, the ambient light sensor can be used to control the ventilation system in function of the occupancy of the space. All settings can be adjusted via Modbus RTU.
