The DTS-M series consists of digital temperature sensors and transmitters specifically designed for reliable temperature monitoring in air ducts. They are powered by 24 VDC over Modbus (PoM).
These sensors measure temperatures in the range of -30 to 70 °C. The measured temperature data is transmitted via Modbus RTU communication.
A single RJ45 socket simplifies wiring by providing both the power supply and Modbus RTU connections. The durable design is low-maintenance, easy to clean, and has an IP65 protection standard.
The sensors operate within a temperature range of -30 to 70 °C and a relative humidity of 5 to 95% rH (non-condensing), making them compatible with various temperature control systems.

How is the sensor installed, and what are the power and connectivity requirements?
The metal sensor probe has a length of 85 mm and is inserted in an air duct. To ensure optimal performance, the sensor must be installed in a zone without turbulences.
This sensor can be connected with just one RJ45 connector. Power over Modbus (PoM) connects Modbus RTU communication and a 24 VDC power supply via one single UTP-cable. The measured temperature can be read out via Modbus RTU communication.
Thanks to its specially designed mounting bracket, this sensor can be easily installed on a wall or any other surface. Installing two temperature sensors at different heights on the same wall provides an effective way to monitor and control temperature stratification within a space.
