Product description

The GTT-1 transformer fan speed controllers control the speed of single phase voltage regulated motors by altering the output voltage in response to temperature.

They have auto-transformers and can manage the fan speed in either automatic or manual mode. Automatic mode has a cooling control function and allows you to manage the speed in five levels based on the integrated flying lead temperature sensor. In manual mode, the integrated control switch may be used to pick one of the specified fan speed positions. This control switch has seven settings: OFF - Automatic mode - Manual mode has 5 speed settings.

Plastic enclosures are available for controllers up to 7,5 A, while metal enclosures are available for versions over 7,5 A.

The enclosure is intended for surface installation inside (IP54). Voltage taps range from 0-(80)-110-140-170-190-230 VAC.

The controllers offer five distinct speed levels, allowing users to select the desired speed level based on their cooling needs. When auto mode is selected, the controller automatically switches between output voltage levels based on the measured temperature. This flexibility is valuable in environments like industrial facilities, warehouses, grow rooms, glass houses, where precise ventilation control is essential.

These controllers can be used immediately after installation, saving time and effort for users who want to start utilizing fan speed control right away.

Customizable output voltages (option)
Users have the option to customize the five output voltages by changing the internal wiring. While the factory-connected output voltages are 110, 140, 170, 190, and 230 VAC, the product version features 80 VAC, which can be connected by disconnecting any of the other five steps.

Installation

Surface mountable enclosure
The fan speed controller's housing is designed and manufactured in-house using high-quality r-ABS VO (UL94) plastic. This material possesses desirable properties for this application, including flame-extinguishing properties, which enhance safety in industrial environments where fire hazards are a concern. Its toughness and impact resistance make it well-suited to protect the internal components of the controller from accidental damage or rough handling.

IP54 protection rating
The enclosure provides an IP54 protection rating, offering a good level of defense against both dust and water ingress.
