What causes error message "h 0-I" on my frequency inverter?

The "h 0-I" error message indicates output over current.
The electrical current towards the motor is too high.

Check the value of p-08: "motor rated current".
It should be higher than or equal to the value mentioned on the nameplate of the connected motor?

Check the motor for short circuits

Check for short circuits in the cable between frequency inverter and motor
If the problem persists, try to increase the acceleration time via p-03. By default, the motor accelerates towards the requested speed in 5 seconds. By increasing this value, the motor will accelerate slower. This might reduce the motor current.

NOTE: Following a trip, the drive cannot be immediately reset. A delay time is inbuilt, which allows the power components of the drive time to recover to avoid damage.
